ADDENDUM 5 - Belial

Belial is the Hebrew personification of lawlessness, wickedness, or worthlessness as an evil force, i.e. Satan. It is transliterated from the Hebrew word beliyaal (Strongs 1100), which means without profit, worthlessness, and by extension, destruction or wickedness. It also comes directly from the Greek word belial (Strongs 955), which means worthlessness as an epithet of Satan. Most references to Belial are found in the Old Testament and are used to describe people as children, sons and daughters, of Belial. It is found only once in the New Testament where it is in direct opposition to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Deuteronomy 13:12-15

12 If thou shalt hear say in one of thy cities, which the LORD thy God hath given thee to dwell there, saying,
