Rockey's Thoughts

On Friday, November 22, 1963 I was eleven years old and in the sixth grade. While standing in the lunch line with my class, the principal rushed into the lunchroom and exclaimed: “The President has been shot!” I thought that was a sad and disturbing thing to be sure. I wasn't politically aware at that age and I accepted the Kennedy assassination at face value, just one of those things. Then two days later on November 24, 1963 Jack Ruby shot and killed Lee Harvey Oswald, Kennedy's accused assassin. Oswald was in police custody at the time and the shooting occurred in the basement of the Dallas Police Headquarters while he was being transferred to the county jail. Something about that didn't set right with me. Why would someone shoot a prisoner who everyone expected was on their way to a sure conviction? Why would it be allowed to happen in the police headquarters, while in police custody and with many policemen standing around? My red pilling had begun.

Over time it came out that Jack Ruby was a night club and strip club owner. He was a low level mobster who used his cash businesses to launder money. He was also dying of cancer. Going all of the way back to the days of the Roman Republic, if a Roman Senator was guilty of treason or another capital crime they were given two choices. They could go through a public trial and, if found guilty, public humiliation leading to the ruin of their family. The other choice was to go home, get in the bath, slit their wrists and bleed out. In that case their family would be taken care of without any humiliation. This practice of the ancient Romans had remained a tradition that was also used by Sicilian Mafia and later by American organized crime (the Mob). Someone who was going to die anyway could do a favor for the Mob and their family would be taken care of. Other things came out over time. One was a great deal of CIA involvement. Why was the CIA involved? They were forbidden by law to operate inside the United States. That was the jurisdiction of the FBI. It was also known that President Kennedy said he was going to do away with the Federal Reserve in a speech one week before he was assassinated. Apparently JFK had made some powerful enemies. How did this come about?

Joseph Kennedy, JFK's father, had been a “Rum Runner” during prohibition. He used a schooner to smuggle Canadian whiskey into the United States. This qualified him as a low level mobster. When JFK became President, he appointed his brother Robert Kennedy to be Attorney General. He then turned Robert loose on the Mob. To the Mob, this was a clear cut betrayal. A little more background is in order here. At the start of World War II the Government made a deal with the Mob that allowed them to operate, within bounds, as long as there were no longshoreman's strikes. The Mob controlled the Longshoreman's Union at that time, as they've controlled many unions. To prosecute the war the nation needed to have war material and other goods loaded onto and off of ships without interruption. With this tacit understanding the Office of Strategic Services (OSS, WWII precursor to the CIA) also got into bed with the Mob for the purpose of intelligence collection. This cooperation continued after the war was over. In the early 50's the CIA got a law passed that allowed them to “earn” their own money, off the books, to use as they saw fit. One way they did this was partnering with the Mob in the gambling industry. One of the big gambling destinations at that time was Havana, Cuba. In 1958 the Communist Revolution in Cuba removed this source of “funding” from the Mob and the CIA. In April 1961 the CIA planned to support the invasion of Cuba by expatriates at the Bay of Pigs in an attempt to overthrow the government of Fidel Castro. The initial invasion was a disaster and JFK stopped any further support of the invasion by the CIA. Then we come back to the Federal Reserve. During this period of time the Mob, with the CIA's help, was trying to legitimize their businesses. Part of that included moving money laundering operations from small time operators like Jack Ruby to the large banks that made up the Federal Reserve. This money laundering was very profitable to both sides. So it is apparent that JFK had made enemies of the Mob, the CIA and the Federal Reserve, representing international bankers. These are major components of the “Powers That Be,” what many refer to as the Deep State. Why didn't they want the investigation of Lee Harvey Oswald to occur? Was he just a patsy? Did Lee Harvey Oswald's motivation to kill President Kennedy come anywhere close to the motivation of the Mob, CIA and international bankers, who were getting rich from the Federal Reserve?

On November 29, 1963 President Johnson created the President's Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy. It has always been known as the Warren Commission because it was presided over by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Earl Warren. On September 24, 1964 the 888-page final report was delivered to President Johnson. Three days later the following conclusion of the report was made public. The Warren Commission concluded that President Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald and that Oswald acted entirely alone. It also concluded that Jack Ruby acted alone when he killed Oswald two days later. Then all of the unpublished portions of the Warren Commission report were sealed for 75 years. As a twelve year old seventh grader I said to myself: “There are only two reasons to seal the report. Either they were completely incompetent (which I thought highly unlikely) or the government cannot survive the public knowing the truth.” My red pilling was complete. I would no longer accept the official narrative (cover story/propaganda) at face value.

In the intervening years, I've served eight years as a U.S. Air Force intelligence analyst and worked thirty-four years as a Systems Engineer for a Defense Contractor. I've spent forty-two years of my adult life “behind the door.” In that time I've learned much more about cover stories and the way government works. Nothing in all of that time has changed in any way the conclusions of the eleven and twelve year old boy I was. After the Warren Commission report was sealed the CIA came up with the term conspiracy theory to dismiss anyone who was following the facts to learn the truth about the Kennedy assassination. Why would the CIA, that is forbidden by law to operate within the United States, care that people didn't believe the official narrative of the Kennedy Assassination? Why would they care that people were looking for the truth independently? Those who are guilty don't want the truth to be known. So whenever I hear something called a “conspiracy theory” I immediately expect that there is some truth to it. If I'm called a conspiracy theorist, then I'm honored to be recognized as an independent thinker who looks beyond the propaganda to find the truth. That, my friends, is a faithful narrative of the Red Pill journey of Rockey Jackson.
