Well before the 2016 election, my wife came home from shopping one day and asked me: “Is there a verse in the Bible that talks about God lifting someones skirt? I just keep hearing: 'I'm lifting their skirts.'” I answered: “Yes there is” and I looked it up for her. It is Nahum 3:5, “Behold, I am against you,” says the Lord of hosts; “I will lift your skirts over your face, I will show the nations your nakedness, And the kingdoms your shame.” A short time later the Lord shared with me that those who absolutely refuse His salvation in the coming spiritual great awakening would gather themselves together into “cities of destruction.” Then when His judgment comes for the sins of our nation after the great awakening it would fall primarily on the cities of destruction. When I saw the map of the voting pattern in the 2016 election, I was shocked at how much gathering had already taken place.

Today, while riding my bicycle through the neighborhood, I passed a house with a Biden sign in the yard. I thought: “Those poor people.” That brought to mind words I have read that prophesied that God would punish those who do not vote for His chosen candidate in the 2020 election. In Romans 1:20 we are told: “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.” In a like manner, the Lord has very clearly shown the difference between the populists and the deep state. His grace period has run out. We already see the cities of destruction destroying themselves. The Lord spoke to my heart that many who reject God's candidate in the 2020 election will act out in such a manner that it will lead to their destruction. Their actions will cause them to loose their jobs and then their homes. Some will loose their business. If they don't already live there, they will migrate to a city of destruction. This is not just another four year election. May we labor in the harvest and shrink the cities of destruction as much as possible before judgment falls.
