President Trump has declared today March 15, 2020 as a day of prayer for our nation. In response, I've chosen to share the following three from my daily prayers.

A Prayer for Our People, Leaders, Nation and Land

2 Chronicles 7:14 - “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Our Father Who art in Heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Father, I pray for your people throughout our land, everyone who is called by Your Name, that they would humble themselves, seek your face, turn from all wickedness, acknowledge You as Lord and pray that our land may be healed. Forgive us our sins and forgive us the sins of our ancestors so that the curse of iniquity over our land may be broken and our land may be healed. Father, I pray for the leaders of our land that they would come to know You in spirit and in truth, that they would surrender their lives unto You and receiving You as Lord that they would humble themselves, bringing the burden of their office before You , laying it down at the foot of Your cross, they would take up their own crosses daily to follow You. Then, Father, give them wisdom and knowledge to lead our nation, our states, our cities, our counties, our parishes, our school districts and our courts in righteousness for Your Name's sake. Father, may Your Holy Spirit lead and guide our people through the current crisis. Take us all safely through this stormy night and whirlwind of change. Give President Trump, his administration, Congress and all of our leaders inspiration for specific actions that will resolve the current crisis according to Your will and for our benefit. Calm and silence those who would cause unwarranted fear and panic. Comfort, heal and restore all who are unjustly affected in any way by the current crisis. Reveal all of the evil, wickedness and corruption in our land. Lift the skirts of those involved revealing their nakedness and their shame.* Bring them to justice. Father, as we see the mercy and the grace of Your hand bringing us through this crisis may it cause reformation in Your church and revival in our land that leads to a spiritual great awakening. For Thine is the kingdom, power, honor, glory and majesty now and forever. In Jesus name, amen.

*Nahum 3:5 - “Behold, I am against you,” says the Lord of hosts; “I will lift your skirts over your face, I will show the nations your nakedness, and the kingdoms your shame.”

Prayer for the President and for Spiritual Awakening

Our Father Who art in Heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Father, I thank you for raising up Donald Trump, Mike Pence, William Barr, Mike Pompeo and all of the other standards* that You have raised up and are going to raise up in our nation for such a time as this. Bless and protect all of Your standards, their families and their staffs. Lead them, guide them and direct them. Help them, heal them and comfort them. Encourage them, strengthen them, empower them, inspire them, instruct them and send them forth to do Your will in the Earth. Father, continue to reveal all of the evil, wickedness, and corruption throughout our land. Lift the skirts of those involved, revealing their nakedness and their shame.** Bring them to justice! Unravel Your enemies' plans, schemes, and conspiracies. Boomerang all of Your enemies' weapons. Send discouragement, confusion, and dissension into Your enemies' camp; causing them to turn on one another, biting and devouring each other. Unravel all of the webs and nets that Your enemies have woven to entrap and ensnare Your standards and Your people. As You unravel them, cause your enemies to become entangled in them and bound by them. Father, I pray for reformation in Your church and revival in our land leading to a great spiritual awakening. May the great awakening spread to Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Great Britain, all of the Common Wealth nations, all of the sheep nations and every other nation You desire it to spread to. May it spread from Great Britain throughout all of Europe and the North Atlantic. May it spread from South Africa throughout all of Africa, the Indian Ocean and the South Atlantic. May it spread through all of Brazil and from Brazil throughout all of Latin America, the surrounding oceans and seas. May it spread through Israel, from Israel throughout the Mediterranean and the Middle East as far as Iran and Afghanistan. May it spread throughout Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan; on to Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea; up through the Philippines, Japan and a united Korea. May it spread from Korea throughout the rest of Asia and the Pacific. Make Wonson and Pyongyang noted missionary sending cities. Give us a whirlwind of change that will move Your faithful remnant from the wilderness to our promised land. Release us from our prisons of unfulfilled words, dreams and visions and bring us into Your palace of fulfilled promises. For Thine is the kingdom, power, honor, glory and majesty now and forever. In Jesus name, amen.

*Isaiah 59:19 - So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.

Prayer for God's Faithful Remnant

Our Father Who art in Heaven Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. (Begin Psalm 13) How long, Father, will You continue to ignore your faithful remnant? How long will You pay no attention to us? How long must we continue to worry and suffer in the broad daylight and through each long, cold, lonely, dark night? How long will You allow our enemies to gloat over us and to blaspheme Your Name? Look at us Father, answer us! Revive us or we will die. Then Your enemy would boast that he has won the victory over us and our enemies would rejoice because we oppose them no more. But we believe in Your faithfulness. We will rejoice when You deliver us and we will praise You when you vindicate us, oh Lord. (End Psalm 13.) Give us this day, Father, an audience with You. Let us know You, let us see Your face and know Your heart. Commission us to fulfill our callings. Instruct us, grant us wisdom, abundant resources and all the power of Your Spirit to fulfill our callings. Take us through our whirlwind of change. Give us our new combine and tractor. Take us to and establish us in our promised land. Release us from our prison of unfulfilled words, dreams and visions. Take the shroud of shame from us. Clothe us in Your white robe of righteousness, dipped in the blood of the Lamb of God. Fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit to overflowing. Place royal robes upon us, garlands about our necks, crowns upon our heads and signet rings upon upon our fingers. Bring us into the place that You have prepared for us in Your palace of fulfilled promises. For Thine is the kingdom, the power, the honor, the glory and the majesty now and forever. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit I pray, amen.
