For Such A Time As This

And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”” Esther 4:13-14

Just as it was in the days of Esther, so today we see the Basilisk spirit slandering God's people to destroy their reputation. This comes with the intent to emasculate God's people so that Satan may rule over them. The incentive for those who do the work of the Basilisk spirit is authority to plunder God's people and take their material wealth as spoil. In the story of Esther, Haman, the personification of the Basilisk spirit, was hung on the gallows he had built for Mordecai and then his ten sons were hung with him. Something of the same type is soon to occur in our day. There was only one Esther, but each one who has a personal relationship with the Lord and His law written upon their hearts (Hebrews 10:16) has a personal assignment to fulfill. I encourage each one to fulfill the Lord's will for them, for they have been born for such a time as this.
